The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Graduate Nurse (RN) with experience in Respiratory Intermediate Care to join our team at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. As a full-time employee, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional care and support to patients in this specialized setting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluating patient needs and administering treatments for respiratory issues
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health and care
- Assisting in the management of equipment and supplies related to respiratory care
What We're Looking For
- A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam
- Experience in Respiratory Intermediate Care is preferred but not required
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
