The Opportunity

Farnell, an Avnet company, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Changi, East. As a key member of the distribution center, you will be responsible for performing various activities related to packing, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, stock handling, storing, distribution, and inventory support.

Your Responsibilities

• Handle incoming shipments and ensure accurate receipt and documentation
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment in a timely manner
• Perform stock management tasks including inventory counts and organization
• Assist in the distribution of products to various departments or customers
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse area
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
