What This Role Involves
This travel nursing position is based in the Operating Room (OR) department. The role involves providing advanced nursing care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions before, during, and after surgery
- Participating in preoperative planning and postoperative recovery
- Administering medications as directed by the surgical team
- Monitoring patients for complications and providing immediate care if needed
- Assisting with surgical procedures under the guidance of a supervising nurse or surgeon
Requirements
- RN license required, valid in state of practice
- OR experience preferred but not mandatory for new travel nurses
- 13 weeks commitment starting on 08/24/2026
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts during the day
- Full-time employment with no remote option available
