Vrey is revolutionizing the energy landscape by developing the EnergyOS for multi-family buildings in Germany. With over 3.3 million apartment buildings lagging behind in solar penetration and smart metering, our platform aims to bridge this gap, enabling property owners to sell self-generated solar power directly to tenants through a seamless, non-energy supplier route (§42b EnWG). This opportunity is perfect for professionals with 2+ years of experience building full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails. Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications
• Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Maintain and improve existing codebase for reliability and efficiency

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, preferably using Ruby on Rails
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Vue.js
• Familiarity with database management systems (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Aptitude for problem-solving and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
