Placemakr is seeking a full-time Housing Coordinator in Washington, DC to own unit readiness and deliver seamless move-in experiences for residents across our metro-area communities.

The Opportunity

As Housing Coordinator at Placemakr, you will serve as the operational owner of the Resident Ready process under the Housing Program Manager. You will keep dozens of residences visible and on track at once, aligning multiple teams so every home is inspected, prepared, and approved for occupancy before a new resident arrives. Expect a rotational full-time schedule that can include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will report to a home-base community in the Washington metropolitan area and regularly travel between Placemakr-managed properties as needed, with approved travel costs reimbursed. Success means turning coordination complexity into reliable move-in results day after day.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end ownership of the Resident Ready process so every residence is inspected, cleaned, stocked, and cleared for safe occupancy
• Coordinate closely with Resident Experience Associates, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Desk, Property Leadership, and corporate support teams
• Track and close all inspections, work orders, cleanings, inventory checks, and milestones before authorizing a unit for move-in
• Maintain real-time visibility across active homes and re-prioritize work as conditions change
• Travel between assigned communities throughout the Washington metro area to verify readiness, support transitions, and partner with on-site teams
• Flag and resolve operational issues early so they never disrupt the resident experience
