PsyPhyCare is hiring for a Full Time LCSW or Psychologist (Yachats, Oregon) – Youth Residential Program position based in Yachats, Oregon, where you will deliver essential mental health support to young people in a residential care setting.

What This Role Involves

This LCSW or Psychologist (Yachats, Oregon) – Youth Residential Program opportunity centers on clinical work with adolescents living in a structured residential environment. You will apply advanced psychotherapy and social work expertise to assess needs, guide healing, and promote positive behavioral change for youth facing complex emotional challenges. The role requires close coordination within an interdisciplinary residential team while remaining fully on-site in Yachats, Oregon, to ensure consistent, face-to-face care for the young residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and diagnostic assessments for youth residing in the program
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address trauma, behavioral concerns, and developmental goals
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches suitable for residential settings
• Monitor progress, document clinical outcomes, and adjust interventions in collaboration with direct-care staff and educational partners
• Participate in case conferences, crisis intervention, and discharge planning to support smooth transitions for each young person
• Uphold professional standards of confidentiality, ethical practice, and regulatory compliance throughout all clinical activities

Skills & Qualifications

• Current Oregon licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or as a licensed Psychologist
• Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, psychology, or a closely related clinical field
• Demonstrated experience delivering therapeutic services to adolescents in residential, inpatient, or similar structured youth programs
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based modalities for youth mental health
• Ability to work collaboratively with residential teams, families, and community resources in a Full Time capacity
• Excellent documentation habits and a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive environment for young residents near Yachats, Oregon
