Warehouse Team Lead

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse associates through receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping workflows
• Assign work, rebalance labour as volume changes, and keep the team aligned on daily targets
• Reinforce safe work practices, address hazards promptly, and model correct equipment use
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy checks, and clear process follow-through
• Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and inventory partners to clear bottlenecks and exceptions
• Train and coach team members on procedures, quality standards, and productivity expectations
• Monitor key operational indicators and share concise performance feedback with the crew and supervisors
• Identify process gaps and help implement practical improvements that raise speed, accuracy, or safety

Who We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience leading or supervising people in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Solid working knowledge of inbound, outbound, and inventory control fundamentals
• Clear communication skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team under time pressure
• Familiarity with industrial health and safety expectations common to warehouse floor work
• Comfort using handheld scanners, basic warehouse systems, and simple productivity reports
• Calm problem-solving under shifting priorities and a reliable, on-site work ethic in Surrey, BC
• Readiness to set an example on quality, attendance, and teamwork as a Warehouse Team Lead
