Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of scalable AI/ML system architectures that integrate models into enterprise workflows
• Evaluate and recommend frameworks, tools and platforms suited to complex machine learning workloads
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to align technical designs with project goals
• Define standards for model deployment, monitoring, performance optimisation and responsible AI practices
• Oversee the full lifecycle from prototype through production release, including MLOps considerations
• Assess emerging technologies and continuously refine architectural patterns for efficiency and reliability
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to support high-quality delivery of AI solutions

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise designing production AI and machine learning architectures
• Strong command of programming languages commonly used in ML such as Python
• Hands-on experience with major ML frameworks, libraries and supporting ecosystems
• Familiarity with cloud environments and services used for large-scale model training and serving
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, model governance, scalability and security principles
• Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, data science or a related disciplined field
