About the Role

As Associate Director Clinical Supply at Verastem in Needham, Massachusetts, you will direct clinical supply operations to keep studies fully supported from planning through distribution. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain accurate clinical supply forecasts and inventory plans that align with study protocols and enrollment projections.
• Coordinate packaging, labeling, and distribution activities with internal groups and external partners to deliver materials on schedule.
• Identify potential supply risks early and implement contingency measures that prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensure all clinical supply processes meet applicable regulatory and quality standards, including documentation and audit readiness.
• Manage vendor performance, statements of work, and related costs for clinical packaging and logistics providers.
• Lead cross-functional meetings that synchronize supply decisions with clinical operations timelines.
• Mentor staff, drive continuous process improvements, and standardize best practices for clinical supply management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior-level experience overseeing clinical supply chain operations for investigational studies.
• Strong working knowledge of clinical trial material handling, forecasting tools, and regulatory expectations for investigational product.
• Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships and multi-study supply budgets.
• Excellent project leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that support matrix-team environments.
• Capability to work onsite full time in Needham, Massachusetts and travel occasionally as study needs require.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical, or supply-chain discipline is preferred; advanced experience may substitute.
