Role Overview

As the Maintenance Technician III - Filling (Days) at Resilience in OH - West Chester, you will serve as a senior technical expert responsible for maximizing uptime and performance of filling systems within a manufacturing setting. This full-time role focuses on advanced diagnostics, proactive care, and continuous improvement so daily operations proceed without interruption. You will operate during day hours and collaborate closely with production and quality teams to uphold reliable equipment performance that supports overall output goals.

What You'll Do

• Execute complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repairs on filling machinery to resolve breakdowns swiftly and minimize downtime.
• Plan and complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on filling lines, including lubrication, alignment, component replacement, and system inspections.
• Troubleshoot root causes of equipment issues using technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and performance data to restore full functionality.
• Document all maintenance activities thoroughly and update work orders, spare-parts inventories, and equipment histories.
• Mentor junior technicians by sharing knowledge of filling-system best practices and safe work methods.
• Partner with operations staff to refine processes that enhance equipment reliability and efficiency on the filling floor.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven industrial maintenance experience at a technician level, ideally with progressive responsibility reaching Level III competency.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, pneumatics, and basic PLC concepts common to automated filling equipment.
• Hands-on ability with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, multimeters, and other diagnostic devices.
• Demonstrated capacity to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation accurately.
• Familiarity with efficient work practices in a production environment that prioritizes safety and equipment integrity.
• Reliable problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under day-shift conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational background typical for this career path.
