Core Duties

• Provide one-on-one and group coaching that equips learners with strategies for identifying wage-advancing career options and preparing for workplace success.
• Deliver integrated instruction that pairs academic skill reinforcement with occupational training tailored to real job requirements.
• Evaluate participant strengths, barriers, and goals to build customized plans linking education, training, and better-paying opportunities near Arkansas.
• Coach job seekers on resume development, interview preparation, workplace communication, and other readiness skills essential for wage progression.
• Partner with internal colleagues and external contacts to expand access to work experiences, placements, and advancement resources for IET participants.
• Track learner milestones, document wage and placement outcomes, and refine coaching approaches to strengthen overall results.
• Lead workshops that introduce labor market insights, career mapping, and sustained employment practices for those pursuing higher wages.

What You Bring

• Background in career coaching, adult instruction, workforce preparation, or similar support roles that emphasize integrated education and training elements.
• Skill in mentoring diverse adult learners focused on wage career advancement and long-term employment stability.
• Comfort designing and facilitating sessions that merge basic skill development with vocational content.
