Your Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting while following care plans.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and other basic observations, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team.
• Support meal service, feeding assistance when needed, and help maintain a clean, organized patient environment.
• Float between CARE assignments to cover staffing needs and ensure consistent coverage across units in Springfield, Missouri.
• Respond to call lights, transport patients safely within the facility, and prepare rooms for occupancy or procedures.
• Document care accurately and collaborate with nurses, providers, and fellow assistants to uphold quality standards.
• Follow infection-control protocols, safety policies, and privacy requirements at all times.
