Responsibilities

- Deliver continuous monitoring, medication support within scope, and rapid response to deterioration while en route
- Prepare, check, and operate specialty transport equipment, stretchers, and monitors so devices remain ready and functional
- Collaborate with referring and receiving clinicians to communicate status, needs, and updates throughout each transfer
- Document assessments, treatments, vital signs, and handoffs accurately and on time for the clinical record
- Assist with safe loading, securing, and unloading of patients and gear while following infection-control and transport safety protocols
- Support family presence and clear communication whenever clinical conditions allow
- Maintain vehicle and equipment readiness and complete required shift, inventory, and quality tasks expected of a Neonatal and Pediatric Transport AEMT
