Overhaul

Wabtec is seeking a skilled Overhaul Technician to join our operations team in Landskrona, Skåne County, Sweden. This is a full-time, on-site role centred on the complete servicing, repair, and rebuilding of industrial equipment to exacting standards.

About the Role

As an Overhaul Technician at Wabtec, you will be responsible for the systematic disassembly, inspection, refurbishment, and reassembly of complex machinery and equipment. Working in our Landskrona facility, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and safety specifications. This position requires precision, technical knowledge, and a commitment to thorough workmanship in every overhaul project you undertake.

Core Duties

• Dismantle, inspect, and document the condition of equipment components during overhaul operations
• Replace worn, damaged, or obsolete parts with new or refurbished components according to technical specifications
• Perform cleaning, testing, and quality checks throughout the overhaul process
• Reassemble equipment and conduct functional tests to verify proper operation
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, parts replaced, and test results
• Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental standards, and workplace regulations
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve technical challenges

Qualifications

• Technical qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience in equipment servicing or maintenance
• Demonstrated experience with mechanical assembly, disassembly, and repair work
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
