D103C Health and Social Care is recruiting an experienced Lecturer of Health & Social Care to join our team in Maney, Sutton Coldfield. This is a full-time teaching role within a dynamic further education environment dedicated to developing the next generation of health and social care professionals.
About the Role
As a Lecturer of Health & Social Care, you will design and deliver engaging, current curriculum content across a range of qualifications and programmes. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across health and social care programmes
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support learning progression
- Maintain current knowledge of legislation, best practice and sector developments affecting health and social care
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum standards
- Support student wellbeing and contribute to their personal and professional development
- Maintain accurate records and participate in programme quality assurance processes
Who We're Looking For
- Relevant professional qualifications and substantial experience working in health and social care
- Proven teaching ability, ideally within further education or vocational training settings
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of current health and social care practice, policy and professional standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion within education
- Professional registration or accreditation relevant to your area of specialism
