D103C Health and Social Care is recruiting an experienced Lecturer of Health & Social Care to join our team in Maney, Sutton Coldfield. This is a full-time teaching role within a dynamic further education environment dedicated to developing the next generation of health and social care professionals.

About the Role

As a Lecturer of Health & Social Care, you will design and deliver engaging, current curriculum content across a range of qualifications and programmes. You'll inspire students with practical knowledge and academic rigour, preparing them to enter rewarding careers within the health and social care sectors. Working within our specialist department, you'll contribute to a supportive learning environment where student progression and sector-ready competence are paramount. Your role bridges education and practice, ensuring learners develop both theoretical understanding and applied skills valued by employers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across health and social care programmes
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support learning progression
• Maintain current knowledge of legislation, best practice and sector developments affecting health and social care
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum standards
• Support student wellbeing and contribute to their personal and professional development
• Maintain accurate records and participate in programme quality assurance processes

Who We're Looking For

• Relevant professional qualifications and substantial experience working in health and social care
• Proven teaching ability, ideally within further education or vocational training settings
• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of current health and social care practice, policy and professional standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion within education
• Professional registration or accreditation relevant to your area of specialism
