About the Role

As a Research Technician I in our Pediatrics department, you'll provide essential technical and administrative support to faculty-led research initiatives. Working under general supervision, you'll become a key contributor to sponsored research projects, helping advance discoveries that benefit children's health and medical science.

What You'll Do

• Execute laboratory experiments according to established research protocols and experimental designs
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, observations, and results with accuracy and precision
• Prepare comprehensive summaries and reports of experimental findings for research teams
• Manage research data collection, organization, and documentation
• Support project timelines and deliverables for sponsored research programs
• Assist with laboratory equipment operation, calibration, and maintenance
• Collaborate with principal investigators and senior research staff
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and departmental standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a life science field preferred
• Foundational knowledge of laboratory techniques and scientific methods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping
