Assistant Property Manager, $16

Join P.J. Morgan Investments as an Assistant Property Manager in Benson. This full-time position, paying $16 to $18 per hour, offers the opportunity to grow your real estate management career while supporting our portfolio of properties in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Role Overview

As Assistant Property Manager with P.J. Morgan Investments, you'll work closely with our Property Management Director to ensure our properties operate smoothly and meet our high standards. Supporting day-to-day operations, tenant coordination, and maintenance oversight, you'll play a key role in the success of our Benson-based real estate portfolio. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as part of a team committed to excellent property stewardship.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist with tenant communication, lease administration, and move-in/move-out coordination
• Support maintenance and repair scheduling, vendor coordination, and quality inspections
• Help track rent collection, process payments, and maintain accurate records
• Respond to tenant inquiries and maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
• Support the Property Management Director with administrative tasks and property documentation
• Conduct property walkthroughs and report on condition and occupancy status

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and property management software (or willingness to learn)
• Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• High school diploma or equivalent; real estate or property management experience a plus
• Ability to work full-time hours and be flexible when property needs arise
