The Opportunity
The Assistant Clinical Research Manager position is a key role within our Center of Early Detection & Intervention Blood Cancers (CEDI BC) clinical research program. You'll collaborate directly with the Principal Investigator and research leadership to support the execution of innovative interventional clinical trials. Working at the intersection of scientific discovery and patient care, you'll help coordinate complex research protocols, oversee team operations, and ensure every trial meets the highest standards of Good Clinical Practice. This is an ideal position for someone passionate about blood cancer research and ready to make a measurable impact on early detection and intervention strategies.
Core Duties
- Assist in coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the clinical research team
- Support the execution and oversight of interventional clinical trials in compliance with Good Clinical Practice standards
- Contribute to protocol implementation and trial documentation under Principal Investigator direction
- Help maintain regulatory compliance, study records, and quality assurance processes
- Facilitate communication between the research team, participants, and clinical leadership
- Support data collection, tracking, and reporting activities for active trials
Who We're Looking For
- Experience or strong interest in clinical research, oncology, or medical trial coordination
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial regulations
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced research environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory and ethical standards
