Ryde Technologies is seeking a Database Administrator in Goodhope, Cumberland County to provide technical leadership and hands-on support for critical business systems. This is a full-time position that combines hands-on database administration with active participation in the System Development Life Cycle.
The Opportunity
As Database Administrator at Ryde Technologies, you'll serve as a technical leader supporting Business Systems Center (BSC) applications. You'll engage across the complete System Development Life Cycle—from initial design and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. Your work ensures databases are architected properly, perform reliably, and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on database administration for BSC applications
- Participate throughout the System Development Life Cycle, from planning through enhancement and maintenance
- Support code refresh and system enhancement initiatives
- Monitor database performance and system health, addressing issues proactively
- Collaborate with development and business teams on database design and optimization
- Maintain data security, backup, recovery, and integrity standards
