Project Manager – Operations Lead (Remote)

GovCIO is recruiting a Project Manager - Operations Lead for a fully remote position based in Concord, Merrimack County to direct the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) operations supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lead worldwide field operations as we help service members transition to civilian careers.

What This Role Involves

As Project Manager - Operations Lead, you'll direct operations across the Military to Civilian Readiness program, overseeing both in-person and virtual service delivery across multiple locations worldwide. You'll manage operational execution, support team coordination, and ensure program success for the service members and veterans we serve.

Responsibilities

• Direct worldwide TAP field operations, coordinating onsite and virtual service delivery
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of Benefits Advisors to ensure consistent, quality service
• Manage operational workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
• Monitor program performance and implement improvements based on operational data
• Serve as operational liaison between field teams and Department of Veterans Affairs stakeholders
• Develop operational policies and procedures to enhance program effectiveness and compliance
• Maintain communication across geographically dispersed teams

What We're Looking For

• Project management experience leading field, distributed, or multi-site operations
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a remote work environment
• Experience coordinating benefits services, transition programs, or government initiatives (preferred)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to obtain or maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, public administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
