(USA) Facilities Maintenance Manager, Licensed Mechanical Contractor

Walmart seeks an accomplished Facilities Maintenance Manager with a valid Licensed Mechanical Contractor credential to lead operations across our Springfield, Lane County location. This full-time position manages building systems, maintenance teams, and facility performance to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.

What This Role Involves

As Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day and long-term maintenance operations of Walmart facilities in the Springfield area. You'll implement predictive and preventative maintenance programs, manage facility budgets and equipment lifecycle planning, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Your focus will be on maximizing equipment reliability, reducing costly downtime, and supporting store operational goals through effective facilities management.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and contractors in daily facility operations
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules and predictive maintenance strategies
• Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and equipment procurement
• Ensure all systems and facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate facility repairs, upgrades, and capital improvement projects
• Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives
• Document maintenance activities and maintain detailed facility records

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Mechanical Contractor certification required
• Proven experience managing facilities maintenance operations or similar leadership role
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and inventory tracking systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment
