EMCOR Group is seeking a skilled HVAC Tech II to join its facilities team in Jenks, Tulsa County. This full‑time position focuses on maintaining and servicing heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites.

About the Role

As an HVAC Tech II, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and carry out repairs to ensure optimal indoor climate control and energy efficiency. You’ll work alongside a team of technicians and facility managers to support EMCOR’s broad portfolio of client properties.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on chillers, boilers, air handlers, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, replacing defective components such as motors, valves, and controls.
  • Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection in compliance with EPA regulations.
  • Document service activities, parts used, and time spent in the company’s work order system.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and assist senior technicians with system upgrades.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all OSHA and client‑specific safety standards.
  • Perform seasonal start‑up and shut‑up procedures on heating and cooling systems.
  • Calibrate thermostats, sensors, and building automation controls to maintain set points.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid HVAC technician certification or equivalent trade school diploma.
  • Minimum of two years of hands‑on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, gauges, and HVAC software platforms.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, piping layouts, and control sequences.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record for travel between job sites.
  • Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and ASHRAE standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights as needed.
