Apprentice Pipefitter

Strike Group is hiring a full-time Apprentice Pipefitter across the United States. This hands-on apprenticeship role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining critical pipe systems and equipment in industrial, commercial, and residential settings.

The Opportunity

As an Apprentice Pipefitter at Strike Group, you'll enter a structured training program designed to build your technical capabilities across the full spectrum of pipefitting work. You'll work under the guidance of experienced professionals while gaining practical knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, heating and cooling infrastructure, and industrial production systems. This is your foundation to becoming a skilled pipefitter ready for real-world challenges.

Your Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, and install pipe systems for oil, steam, hot water, and heating and cooling applications
• Support installation of pipe supports, hangers, and related structural components
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in industrial and processing environments
• Maintain existing pipe systems and equipment per company standards
• Participate actively in safety procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
• Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Assist journeyperson pipefitters on job sites and in shops

What We're Looking For

• Genuine interest in learning the pipefitting trade and commitment to hands-on work
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift materials, and work in various environments
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to follow safety protocols strictly and work safely at heights or in confined spaces
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and equipment
