Strike Group is hiring Apprentice Pipefitters for full-time positions throughout the US. In this apprenticeship role, you'll gain hands-on experience assembling and installing pipe systems for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing applications while working alongside experienced professionals.
What This Role Involves
As an Apprentice Pipefitter with Strike Group, you'll develop core competencies in designing, fabricating, and maintaining pipe systems that serve oil facilities, steam plants, cooling systems, heating networks, and industrial production environments. You'll learn to work with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, position structural supports and brackets, and ensure all installations meet safety and performance standards. This apprenticeship prepares you for a skilled trade career with genuine earning potential and long-term job security.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Layout and assemble piping sections following specifications and technical drawings
- Install pipe supports, hangers, and mounting hardware
- Connect and test hydraulic and pneumatic system components
- Perform preventive maintenance on installed piping and equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and site-specific safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with senior pipefitters and cross-functional teams
- Record completed work and communicate progress to your supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Genuine interest in learning skilled trades and technical systems
- Ability to safely handle hand tools and operate power equipment
- Physical fitness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in diverse weather conditions
- Full-time availability and willingness to travel to job sites
- Strong mechanical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining a safety-conscious workplace
