As an AI Engineering Manager at PwC, you'll lead the development of enterprise-grade data infrastructure and machine learning platforms that address complex client challenges. Your scope spans technical team leadership, architecture decisions, and hands-on participation in data engineering work that enables clients to extract intelligence from their data at scale. You'll partner with data scientists, analytics specialists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, production-grade systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Direct engineering teams in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL workflows, and analytics infrastructure
• Lead technical design decisions and conduct architecture reviews for data platform initiatives
• Work with cross-functional teams to convert business problems into scalable data engineering solutions
• Develop and mentor engineers on your team, supporting technical growth and career progression
• Oversee project delivery, timelines, and quality across multiple client engagements
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI and data technologies into client delivery
• Collaborate on business development to expand data science and engineering services with clients

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related roles
• 3+ years leading technical teams or managing engineering projects
• Proficiency with data architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern data tools
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Scala, or similar data engineering languages
• Understanding of machine learning principles and real-world business applications
• Clear communication and collaboration abilities with technical and non-technical partners
• Availability to travel up to 20% as required for client work
