Position Summary

As a Senior Security Software Engineer, you'll design, build, and defend critical infrastructure components that enable this level of protection at global scale. Responsibilities

• Design and implement security-hardened infrastructure components for iCloud services and data platforms
• Develop and enhance security protocols, cryptographic systems, and data protection mechanisms
• Architect solutions that detect, prevent, and respond to security threats across cloud infrastructure
• Conduct security code reviews and establish best practices across engineering teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot complex security incidents and lead remediation efforts
• Stay current with evolving threat landscapes and emerging security technologies

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a security engineer or software engineer focused on security-critical systems
• Deep expertise in infrastructure security, systems security, or application security
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in systems engineering (C, C++, Python, or similar)
• Solid understanding of cryptography, secure communication protocols, and authentication mechanisms
• Demonstrated ability to design secure systems and threat modeling experience
• Experience managing large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively across teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
