Construction Superintendent (Ground-Up Healthcare)

Gpac is hiring a Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up healthcare facility projects in Market, Richland County. This full-time, on-site role offers immediate availability and positions you to manage high-stakes hospital and medical office construction from foundation to completion.

The Opportunity

We're filling this urgent role to oversee critical healthcare construction projects launching immediately. As Construction Superintendent, you'll command daily field operations across multiple trades, enforce stringent safety and quality standards, drive schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with specialized healthcare facility requirements. This is hands-on leadership work — you'll be on-site managing teams, solving problems in real time, and delivering complex medical facilities on time and to specification.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct all jobsite operations, trade coordination, and subcontractor management
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Perform quality control inspections and manage corrective actions
• Track project schedules, budgets, and progress against milestones
• Coordinate with ownership, general contractors, and project stakeholders
• Maintain detailed site documentation, daily logs, and as-built records
• Manage material deliveries and on-site equipment placement

What You Bring

• Proven superintendency experience on ground-up healthcare, hospital, or medical office construction
• Strong grasp of construction scheduling, sequencing, and critical-path management
• Knowledge of healthcare facility building codes and compliance standards
• Demonstrated leadership and communication with diverse trade teams
• Working proficiency with construction management software and documentation systems
• Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel as project requirements dictate
