SUP – Assistant School Spirit Sponsor – Drill

Join Adams County School District 14 as an Assistant School Spirit Sponsor for our Drill program at Adams City High School, a full-time supplemental position that will energize student leadership and campus traditions.

About the Role

This one-year appointment offers the opportunity to mentor and support high-school students in one of the most visible and celebrated activities on campus. As Assistant School Spirit Sponsor for Drill, you'll work closely with our Principal and lead students in choreography, performance, and team development while building school pride through structured, dynamic programming. This supplemental role combines mentorship with hands-on direction of student performances and events.

What You'll Do

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing drill team rehearsals and performances
• Support student performers in learning choreography, formations, and execution
• Collaborate with students to develop creative routines that showcase school spirit and talent
• Help coordinate participation in school events, competitions, and public performances
• Mentor and advise student leaders within the drill program
• Maintain a positive, inclusive team environment that encourages student growth and confidence
• Assist with documentation, attendance tracking, and program administration

• Experience with drill, dance, or related performance activities
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high-school-age students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for school spirit and extracurricular programs
• Ability to collaborate with school administrators and other staff
• Flexibility to attend evening and weekend performances and events
