What You'll Do
- Design and construct robust, scalable data systems that reliably support organization-wide analytics
- Develop and maintain production ETL pipelines and data workflows that process large volumes of information
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across all company systems and databases
- Evaluate and implement emerging data technologies and methodologies to unlock new analytical opportunities
- Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and data storage costs
- Collaborate with analytics, data science, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Lead architecture reviews and participate in strategic data platform planning
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level SQL and data modeling skills with relational and non-relational database systems
- Proven experience designing and building production data warehouses and ETL infrastructure
- Fluency with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Deep knowledge of big data platforms and cloud data engineering tools (Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of industry best practices for data architecture and engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team development
