About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This full-time position offers Monday through Friday schedules with occasional Saturday shifts as needed. Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with compensation of $30–$40 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using industry-standard tools and diagnostic equipment
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment lifespan and reliability
- Maintain detailed service records and document all maintenance and repair activities
- Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and address defects promptly
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and keep vehicles road-ready
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a related equipment maintenance role
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, engines, and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Genuine commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to tackle complex mechanical challenges
