About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant at Sunrise Senior Living, you'll provide direct support that enables our residents to maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life. This is hands-on work where your presence and care directly impact the wellbeing of the people you serve.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Help with mobility, transferring, and safe movement throughout the community
• Support medication reminders and work closely with nursing staff
• Respond promptly to resident requests and maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Communicate effectively with the care team about resident needs and changes in condition
• Support dining and nutritional care as needed

What We're Looking For

• Genuine compassion and patience with seniors
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Clear communication skills and teamwork mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification or caregiving experience a plus, but we'll train the right person
• Ability to respect privacy and maintain confidentiality
