You'll deliver critical care as an ER/Trauma RN in a busy emergency department serving Carthage, Illinois. This is a full-time travel nursing position designed for experienced nurses ready to advance their career with flexibility and financial reward.

Position Details

• Location: Carthage, Illinois 62321
• Specialty: Emergency Department / Trauma
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (12:00 AM–12:00 PM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: September 1, 2025
• Compensation: $2,359 per week

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, managing acute and trauma cases
• Assess vital signs, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and trauma specialists during critical cases
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
• Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Respond to emergency situations with composure and clinical expertise

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license in good standing (valid in Illinois)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent emergency department or trauma nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a new clinical environment
• Willingness to relocate or commute to Carthage for the 13-week assignment
