Environmental Professional II/III

ONEOK, Inc, a Fortune 500 midstream leader with a 100-year legacy, is hiring an Environmental Professional II/III in Williams, Tulsa County to provide comprehensive environmental support for construction projects. In this full-time role, you'll ensure our operations meet the highest environmental and regulatory standards.

About the Role

As an Environmental Professional II/III, you'll play a critical role in supporting ONEOK's commitment to sustainable, environmentally responsible operations. You'll manage environmental compliance, permitting, and monitoring activities across facility and pipeline construction initiatives, working to protect natural resources while advancing our infrastructure portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Provide environmental support and oversight during facility and pipeline construction projects
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permit requirements
• Conduct environmental assessments, site evaluations, and regulatory audits
• Prepare and maintain environmental documentation, permits, and compliance filings
• Coordinate environmental monitoring activities and manage spill prevention protocols
• Communicate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on environmental matters
• Support remediation efforts and address environmental concerns identified during construction phases
• Develop and maintain environmental procedures and best management practices aligned with company standards

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related discipline
• 2–5+ years of professional environmental experience, preferably in energy, construction, or regulated industries
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, NEPA compliance, and the permitting process
• Hands-on experience with environmental assessments, monitoring, and technical reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in fast-paced environments
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed for site work
• Proficiency with office software and environmental databases a plus
