HVAC Estimator

Gpac is seeking a full-time HVAC Estimator to join our team in Eola, DuPage County. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your technical expertise to a respected commercial and industrial mechanical contracting firm serving the greater Chicagoland market.

About the Role

As an HVAC Estimator with us, you'll work on meaningful commercial and industrial projects that drive real business outcomes. Our company has built strong relationships with long-standing clients and maintains a robust pipeline of recurring work. This position focuses on developing accurate, competitive estimates that win projects and set the foundation for successful installations.

What You'll Do

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation to assess scope and requirements
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
• Conduct site assessments and project walkthroughs to gather information for accurate bidding
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to refine estimates and identify efficiencies
• Maintain organized documentation and track estimates through the bidding process
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices
• Proven experience preparing estimates for commercial or industrial mechanical projects
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, apprenticeship, or certification is a plus
