Human Resoures Coordinator

Rebel Hotel Company is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join our Santa Barbara team. In this role, you'll be the operational hub of our HR department, supporting everything from recruitment and onboarding to benefits administration and team member engagement.

About the Role

As Human Resources Coordinator at our Santa Barbara property, you'll serve as a trusted resource for team members and leadership alike. Your work bridges HR strategy and day-to-day operations, ensuring every team member has the support they need to succeed. You'll handle diverse responsibilities that keep our HR function running smoothly while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Do

• Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
• Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new team members integrate smoothly into the organization
• Assist with payroll administration and support payroll processing
• Support benefits administration and answer team member questions about benefit offerings
• Organize and facilitate team member engagement activities and programs
• Help maintain HR compliance by tracking policies, documentation, and regulatory requirements
• Manage HR administrative tasks including record keeping, scheduling, and correspondence
• Serve as a liaison between team members and HR leadership on day-to-day matters

What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience in human resources, HR administration, or a related role (preferred)
• Familiarity with benefits administration and HR systems
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
