About the Role

As a Multi-Modality Technologist Mammography at Mission Hospital, you'll operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to support accurate diagnostic screening and patient outcomes. Working within our imaging services department, you'll combine technical expertise with compassionate patient care to deliver the high-quality diagnostic imaging our patients deserve.

What You'll Do

• Perform mammography procedures using digital and multi-modality imaging technology, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
• Position patients and educate them about imaging procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Maintain detailed technical records and follow established imaging protocols with precision
• Operate and troubleshoot mammography equipment, including digital systems and advanced diagnostic tools
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards in a healthcare environment
• Respond to patient questions and provide reassurance during imaging procedures

What We're Looking For

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography with Mammography certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Demonstrated experience operating mammography and multi-modality imaging equipment
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and exposure protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
• Physical ability to position patients and stand for extended periods
• Commitment to delivering respectful, patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment
