Account Executive

Audacy, Inc. is hiring an Account Executive for our Kansas City sales team, based in the Roeland Park, Johnson County area. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll partner with local and regional businesses to expand their reach through innovative broadcast media solutions.

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you'll be at the heart of our sales operation, building relationships with business owners and marketing decision-makers who are ready to grow. You'll work directly with our General Sales Manager and collaborate across our portfolio of eight radio stations serving the Kansas City market. Your success will come from understanding each client's unique marketing challenges and crafting targeted advertising strategies that deliver measurable results.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing client accounts across Roeland Park and the Kansas City region
• Conduct needs assessments to identify how broadcast media advertising can support business growth and marketing objectives
• Present customized media packages and advertising solutions aligned with client budgets and goals
• Negotiate contracts and close advertising agreements with prospective and current clients
• Track campaign performance and provide clients with regular reporting and performance insights
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Represent Audacy's broadcast brands with professionalism and enthusiasm in the Johnson County market

What We're Looking For

• Proven sales track record in media, advertising, or B2B business development
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to build genuine client relationships and uncover marketing needs
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented, competitive mindset
• Comfort working with sales data, reporting tools, and CRM systems
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a sales team
• Based in or willing to work on-site in the Roeland Park, Johnson County area
