Join Cambridge Public Schools this summer as a Recruitment and Interviews/Retention Curriculum Specialist. This part-time position in Cambridge, Middlesex County offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on student success and long-term enrollment in our district.
About the Role
Throughout the summer, you'll identify and connect with prospective students while strengthening relationships with current learners. Your work will create a foundation for a comprehensive fall curriculum designed to boost academic achievement and reduce student attrition across the district.
What You'll Do
- Conduct outreach and recruitment initiatives to engage prospective and current students
- Lead individual and family interviews to understand student needs, goals, and support requirements
- Develop an after-school curriculum focused on life skills that promote academic and personal growth
- Design and facilitate workshops scheduled for at least two days per week during the fall term
- Collaborate with school staff to align programming with district student achievement priorities
- Monitor student participation and retention data to assess program effectiveness
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support sustained enrollment
