About the Role
As a Lecturer, you'll deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students across your field of expertise. This part-time position offers the flexibility to engage with learners while balancing other professional or academic pursuits. You'll earn $1,704 per credit hour for undergraduate courses or $1,849 per credit hour for graduate-level instruction, based on the level at which you teach.
What You'll Do
- Design and facilitate engaging classroom experiences for diverse student populations
- Develop and refine course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to support student success
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Hold office hours and remain available to students for questions and guidance
- Contribute to the intellectual and professional growth of the university community
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree or higher in your teaching discipline (or equivalent professional expertise)
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and course instruction
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students across backgrounds
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Experience developing curriculum or adapting materials for diverse learner needs is valued
