Westhab is hiring a Program Assistant to join our Employment Services team in New Rochelle, Westchester County. In this full-time role, you'll provide essential administrative support and direct assistance to job seekers and clients, helping to execute our employment programs and community initiatives.

About the Role

As a Program Assistant supporting Westhab's Employment Services division, you'll be the welcoming first point of contact for clients while managing the administrative operations that keep our programs running smoothly. Working under the Program Manager, you'll combine client-facing warmth with behind-the-scenes organizational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors, answering questions about our employment services and guiding them through intake and program processes
  • Handle administrative tasks including document preparation, report generation, data entry, and file management
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate with program participants, and maintain organized records
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries, providing program information and basic troubleshooting
  • Support the Program Manager and Employment Services team with day-to-day operations and special projects
