Project Manager & Asana Administrator – Marketing

Join Instructure as a Project Manager & Asana Administrator for our Marketing team. We're seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional to lead marketing projects and optimize our Asana workspace across our United States (nationwide)-based operations.

About the Role

As Project Manager & Asana Administrator for Marketing at Instructure, you'll serve as the central hub for project coordination and workflow management. This full-time position combines hands-on project leadership with Asana administration, ensuring our marketing initiatives stay on track, teams stay aligned, and our project management infrastructure scales with growth. You'll work across a dynamic marketing organization to streamline processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and keep stakeholders informed every step of the way.

What You'll Do

• Lead marketing projects from conception through delivery, managing timelines, resources, and dependencies using Asana
• Administer the Asana platform for the Marketing team—configure workflows, create and maintain templates, manage user access, and ensure data integrity
• Build and maintain project dashboards and reporting systems that give leadership clear visibility into marketing performance and progress
• Coordinate across marketing departments to identify competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and keep initiatives aligned with company objectives
• Document and optimize team processes to reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and support scalability
• Coach team members on Asana best practices, troubleshoot workflow questions, and drive adoption across the department
• Track project status, escalate risks and blockers, and communicate milestones to cross-functional stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of project management experience in marketing, agile, or similar collaborative environments
• Demonstrated expertise administering and optimizing Asana or comparable work management platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence without formal authority
• Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
• Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting data and creating reports for diverse audiences
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing stakeholder expectations
• Proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environments
