About the Role

This full-time Graduate Nurse position is located on Bordley 7 North, a dedicated 17-bed medical-surgical unit at SSM Health's Saint Louis University Hospital. You'll provide direct patient care in an acutely stable setting, working alongside experienced clinical staff who are committed to helping new nurses succeed in their transition to practice. You'll care for adults and older adults recovering from acute medical and surgical conditions.

What You'll Do

• Deliver compassionate, direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations on a medical-surgical nursing unit
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond to changing health status
• Administer medications safely and educate patients about their treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other care team members
• Chart patient information accurately in electronic health records
• Support patients with seizure disorders, trauma recovery, end-stage renal disease, stroke rehabilitation, and other acute conditions
• Communicate with patients and families about care goals and progress

What We're Looking For

• Recent graduate with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Missouri RN licensure or ability to obtain licensure
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally under experienced mentorship
• Ability to work a full-time hospital unit schedule, including shifts and weekends
