Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health and Safety Specialist for our Kansas City, Wyandotte County location. This full-time entry-level role is designed for recent and upcoming graduates ready to launch a career in occupational safety and health.
About the Role

As a Workplace Health and Safety Specialist, you'll receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop into a skilled safety professional. You'll work across our facility to identify hazards, implement controls, and drive a proactive safety mindset throughout the organization. What You'll Do
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential workplace hazards
- Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for facility employees

- Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Assist in maintaining safety records and reporting metrics
- Participate in safety committee meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
