Regional EHS Operations Manager

Corteva Agriscience is hiring a Regional EHS Operations Manager in Johnston, Providence County to lead environmental health and safety initiatives across our operations. About the Role

As Regional EHS Operations Manager, you'll oversee all environmental, health, and safety programs across our region. You'll partner with operations teams to build a strong safety culture, manage compliance with federal and state regulations, and drive continuous improvement in our EHS practices. This role reports to our North America EHS leadership and gives you visibility across multiple facilities and functions. You'll be instrumental in protecting our workforce while advancing Corteva Agriscience's commitment to sustainable operations and employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS policies, programs, and training initiatives
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across assigned facilities
• Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and other relevant safety standards
• Lead safety committees and coordinate with operations management on EHS performance metrics
• Track workers' compensation claims and manage return-to-work programs
• Maintain EHS documentation and reporting systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in an EHS management or operations role
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and state occupational safety laws
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to influence across departments
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs
• Proficiency with EHS management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within region as needed
