Interior Restoration / Glass Repair Technician

Carvana is seeking an Interior Restoration / Glass Repair Technician to join its Chandler, Maricopa County team in a Full‑Time role. This position focuses on returning vehicle interiors and glass components to like‑new condition for the company’s growing inventory of pre‑owned automobiles.

About the Role

In this mid‑level technician role, you will diagnose interior wear, perform repairs on upholstery, trim, leather, and vinyl surfaces, and address glass chips, cracks, or full replacements. You’ll work within a fast‑paced reconditioning environment where quality and efficiency directly impact the customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Assess interior components for damage such as tears, stains, burns, or wear and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Execute repairs using industry‑standard tools and materials, including adhesives, fillers, color‑matching dyes, and upholstery techniques.
• Perform glass repair procedures, including resin injection for chips and cracks, and complete windshield or side‑glass replacements when needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Carvana’s reconditioning standards and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and keep an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Document repair details in the tracking system and communicate progress to supervisors and teammates.
• Follow all shop safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of three years of professional experience in automotive interior repair, glass repair, or a combination of both.
• Proven ability to match colors and textures for seamless interior fixes.
• Familiarity with glass repair resins, curing lights, and safe removal/installation practices for automotive glass.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work on every vehicle.
• Good manual dexterity and the stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout a shift.
• Effective communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record (required for moving vehicles within the lot).
