About the Role

This full‑time position supports cutting‑edge neuroscience research focused on understanding neural circuit function and disease mechanisms. The scientist will work closely with principal investigators, lab members, and collaborators to drive experiments forward and contribute to scholarly output.

What You'll Do

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments related to neurosurgery and neuroscience
• Collect, analyze, and visualize complex data sets using statistical and computational tools
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, manage reagents, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Prepare figures, manuscripts, and presentations for internal review and external publication
• Assist in training junior staff, students, and visiting researchers on techniques and best practices
• Participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and cross‑departmental collaborations
• Help with grant writing, budget tracking, and procurement of necessary supplies

What We're Looking For

• Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacology, or a closely related field
• Hands‑on experience with electrophysiology, imaging, molecular biology, or behavioral assays
• Proficiency in data analysis software such as MATLAB, Python, R, or GraphPad Prism
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in experimental documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for scientific reporting
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with regulatory standards for research involving human or animal subjects
