Registered Nurse – Part Time position with Solutions by Sanford in Wagner, Charles Mix County, supporting patient care at Chamberlain Medical Center.
About the Role
This part‑time Registered Nurse role provides essential bedside care in a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule at Chamberlain Medical Center. You will join a dedicated team that serves patients across a range of acuity levels while contributing to Solutions by Sanford’s mission of expanding access to quality health care in underserved areas.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment execution
- Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in condition, and intervene appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Assist with procedures, wound care, and patient education as needed
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license (South Dakota or compact state)
- BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum of one year of acute care or med‑surg nursing experience
- Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care
