About the Role
As Events Marketing Manager at Cengage Group, you'll be at the intersection of strategy and execution, designing and promoting events that connect educators, students, and learning professionals. You'll own the end-to-end marketing lifecycle for our events portfolio, from conception through post-event analysis, ensuring each experience resonates with our diverse audience and advances Cengage's mission to transform education.
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and promotional campaigns for events targeting educators and learners
- Create compelling, multi-channel content to drive event awareness, registrations, and attendee engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event objectives with organizational goals and learner needs
- Manage event coordination and attendee experience from planning through execution
- Measure event performance, analyze results, and deliver insights to refine future marketing strategies
- Oversee communications with prospective and registered attendees throughout the event lifecycle
- Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives that showcase Cengage's educational innovations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in events marketing or event management, ideally in education, technology, or B2B sectors
- Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with event management platforms and digital marketing tools
- Demonstrated ability to create persuasive marketing content and messaging
- Analytical approach to measuring campaign performance and driving data-informed decisions
- Self-directed professional suited to remote work with strong organizational discipline
