Cengage Group is hiring an Adoptions Marketing Manager to lead our K-12 market adoption strategy in a full-time remote position based in Edgewood, Richland County. You'll design and execute marketing campaigns that connect school districts with our educational solutions.
About the Role
This position focuses on driving awareness and adoption of Cengage's educational offerings within K-12 schools and districts. You'll collaborate with sales, product, and leadership teams to develop targeted marketing initiatives that demonstrate how our solutions support student achievement and educator effectiveness.
What You'll Do
- Design and launch adoption marketing campaigns targeting school administrators, curriculum directors, and teaching staff
- Develop messaging and content that communicates the value and impact of our educational materials and technology
- Track adoption pipelines and market metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Work with sales teams to align marketing activities with adoption goals and regional priorities
- Research district needs and competitive positioning to inform campaign strategy and audience targeting
- Coordinate digital marketing, outreach events, and communications across multiple K-12 markets
- Support product launches and strategic education initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of marketing experience in education, publishing, B2B sales, or related fields
- Demonstrated success creating and managing adoption-focused or sales enablement campaigns
- Understanding of K-12 school structures, adoption cycles, and buying decision processes
- Strong project management capabilities with ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives
- Analytical skills with experience measuring campaign effectiveness and return on investment
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfort with marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and data analytics
