Information System Security Officer 2 with Security Clearance

ProSync Technology Group seeks an Information System Security Officer 2 to join our team in Savage, Anne Arundel County. This full-time position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Fullscope Polygraph and offers the opportunity to safeguard critical systems and data for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community operations.

About the Role

As an Information System Security Officer 2, you will assume leadership responsibility for the security posture of enterprise systems and information assets. You'll develop, implement, and maintain security strategies that protect classified and sensitive information while ensuring compliance with federal security requirements and industry best practices.

What You'll Do

• Conduct and oversee system security assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring activities
• Develop, document, and enforce information security policies and procedures
• Manage the security certification and accreditation process for information systems
• Coordinate with IT and operations teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Lead security awareness and training initiatives across the organization
• Perform threat and risk analysis to identify security gaps and implement mitigation strategies
• Maintain and manage security infrastructure, tools, and monitoring systems

What We're Looking For

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Fullscope Polygraph (required to apply)
• Professional experience in an information systems security officer, security analyst, or comparable role
• Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks, DoD security standards, or equivalent compliance requirements
• Background in system administration, network security, or IT infrastructure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Clearance-eligible background and commitment to maintaining Top Secret access
